SCORM package
A package is dispatched into your LMS. Your LMS plays it and records completion, score and time, exactly the fields the SCORM data model defines.
What it gives you
- People learn inside the system they already log into, with no new account.
- Procurement is simple: it is content, not a second platform.
- Completion and score land in your existing LMS reporting.
What it cannot do
- SCORM records that someone finished, not which obligations that covered for which role.
- A package is a snapshot. When the law moves, the copy in your LMS does not know.
- Evidence stays per learner in your LMS, so the organisation-level picture has to be assembled by hand.

Your LMS is the single front door for all learning and you accept assembling the organisation-level evidence yourself.
LTI 1.3 connection
Your LMS launches the content live rather than hosting a copy. Accounts are provisioned on launch, the roster syncs, and scores flow back to the gradebook.
What it gives you
- People still start from your LMS, so nothing changes for them.
- Content is served live, so a correction reaches everyone at once instead of needing a re-import.
- Roles arrive with the launch, so a learner lands in the route that matches their role.
What it cannot do
- It needs a one-time configuration by your LMS administrator.
- It requires the learner to be online at launch, unlike a fully packaged export.

You want the LMS experience without freezing the content, and your administrator can do one configuration.
Direct in LearnWize
People work in LearnWize itself, through an invitation, single sign-on or a one-time secure link for those who sit in no system at all.
What it gives you
- The full picture in one place: which systems you use, which roles work with them and what each person still needs.
- Contractors and board members can be reached without giving them an LMS account.
- The evidence file is maintained rather than assembled afterwards.
What it cannot do
- It is a second environment next to your LMS, which is a real consideration for L&D.
- It needs its own access decision, even though SSO removes most of the friction.
Pick it when
The evidence question matters as much as the training question, or you need to reach people your LMS does not cover.
