LTI 1.3 is the documented route and it is the better one anyway, because the content stays live. Their own documentation advises checking which LTI version an external provider supports; ours is 1.3.
What each route keeps alive
SCORM package
A package is dispatched into your LMS. Your LMS plays it and records completion, score and time, exactly the fields the SCORM data model defines.
Gives you
People learn inside the system they already log into, with no new account.
Cannot do
SCORM records that someone finished, not which obligations that covered for which role.
LTI 1.3 connection
Your LMS launches the content live rather than hosting a copy. Accounts are provisioned on launch, the roster syncs, and scores flow back to the gradebook.

People still start from your LMS, so nothing changes for them.

It needs a one-time configuration by your LMS administrator.

Where the evidence ends up
Whichever route you pick, your LMS records that a person finished something. What it does not record is which obligations that covered for which role, or whether the content still matches the law. - How much work is it to put this into Studytube?
- A SCORM package is upload and publish. An LTI 1.3 connection is a one-time configuration by your administrator: exchange keys, register the tool and pick the place in the course. After that nothing changes for learners, because they still start from your own environment.
- Can we cap the number of participants and the duration?
- Yes. Every rollout carries its own duration and its own seat cap. When the cap is reached the next person is refused rather than silently added, and central updates still reach everyone already inside.
- What happens to the content when the law changes?
- With a live connection people see the revised version as soon as it is ready. With a package the copy stays as it was, so agree up front how you will be told a module was revised. We publish that publicly anyway, per legal change and with the affected modules listed.
