From Article 4 as a duty to demonstrable AI literacy
Article 4 of the EU AI Act is not a checkbox, but an organizational duty for providers and deployers. Since 2 February 2025 you must take measures that support the development of AI literacy among people operating AI on the organization's behalf. Because the law prescribes no fixed course format or individual outcome, you should substantiate why the chosen measures fit your roles, tools and risks. Regulation (EU) 2026/1744 has applied since 27 July 2026.

No. Article 4 does not prescribe a mandatory standard certificate or a fixed training. It requires measures that take account of role, knowledge level and context, without guaranteeing a fixed individual outcome. So the quality is not in a seal, but in how it matches role and risk and in the evidence you can show per employee.
